Banded Peak August Community Pint: Mountain Muskox & Tallgrass Tango

For the entire month of August, $1 from every pint sold of Tallgrass Tango in the Banded Peak Taproom will be donated to Mountain Muskox.

About Mountain Muskox:

Inspired by the protective circle of the muskoxen, Mountain Muskox is a group of mountain community members coming together with professional facilitators whos mission is to crate a community to support and care for those who have been impacted by loss or trauma in the mountains. Through peer circles they can provide healing safety, connection and support.

As mountain enthusiasts, they understand the rewards gained from time spent in these magical places, but do we ever truly appreciate the darkness that they can also bring?

These impacts ripple through family and community. The need for help is real and growing. They aim to be another layer within circles of support.

Mountain Muskox Offerings:

Chapters Hosting Monthly Circle:

Mountain Muskox currently has chapters in the Bow Valley and the Sea to Sky. Chapters host professionally facilitated circles on the third Wednesday of each month and are open to anyone who has been impacted by a trauma or loss in the mountains. Learn more about circles.

Muskox Immersion Weekend:

Our 2024 Immersion is September 21 & 22 in the Bow Valley. It’s focused on connection, making sense of our experiences and growing into next steps as individuals and as a community. The weekend is open to a broader audience. Learn more about the 2024 Immersion Weekend.
