Banded Peak Brewing March Community Pint: Above The Summit & Pink Boots Society

For the month of March, $1 from every sale of Above The Summit in the Banded Peak Taproom being donated to Pink Boots Society. Each year, Banded Peak Brewing brews a Pink Boots beer to celebrate International Women's Day. This year, we're proud to present Above the Summit, a cherry lime sour that honours the strength, resilience, and determination of women breaking barriers.

About Pink Boots Society

Pink Boots Society is a national non-profit organization dedicated to assisting, inspiring and encouraging women and non-binary individuals in the fermented/alcoholic beverage industry to advance their careers through education.

What they do:

• BREW DAYS: Pink Boots Collaboration Brew Day is their largest, annual fundraising event and celebration of women and non-binary individuals in the fermented/alcohol beverage industry
• SCHOLARSHIPS: Canada Chapter members are eligible to apply for both Canada-specific scholarships and international scholarships available throughout the year.
• EVENTS: With members across the country, it’s important we keep them connected. From virtual to in-person events, we have hosted sake appreciation, and food & beer pairing; we visited a hop farm, and many more.
• MENTORSHIP: Their Mentorship Program launched in 2024, pairing members with a curated list of industry professionals. The goal: to support members’ skill development, both personal and professional growth, and to expand their industry network.
