A Special Screening of the Documentary Film: Wildflowers
Join us for an exclusive screening of Wildflowers, a powerful documentary that retraces the steps of Mary Schäffer Warren’s 1908 expedition to Maligne Lake in Jasper National Park.
Each year, Banded Peak Brewing brews a Pink Boots beer to celebrate International Women's Day. This year, we're proud to present Above the Summit, a cherry lime sour that honours the strength, resilience, and determination of women breaking barriers. The sweet cherry and zesty lime notes reflect the trailblazers who push boundaries, carve new paths, and inspire others to rise. At Banded Peak, we are committed to celebrating the incredible women in our community, the outdoors, and beyond. Here's to those who go Above the Summit, we raise a pint to you! Banded will be onsite sampling Above the Summit Sour among other favourites for the evening.
This year Banded Peak has teamed up with Meghan J. Ward, and filmmaker Trixie Pacis to take part in a special screening of Wildflowers. Following the screening, Meghan, Trixie, and Banded Peak will join us for a special Q&A discussion about the film and its themes and partnership.
