Ascent Health & Sport Therapy presents “Kneehab” – Training strategies to help skiers build resilience against ACL injuries

As seasons begin to change many of us look ahead to getting back on the snow. Between now and then, however, is November. Dreaded November. Often too cold to bike or hike, and there is not enough snow to ski, tour or XC ski. This in-between-time is a good opportunity to take care of any nagging injuries and prepare your body for your winter sports. In this workshop Ascent Health & Sport Therapy will provide you with a framework for building an injury resilient body, focusing specifically on the ACL which is a common ski injury.

Rocky Mountain Adaptive

Each ticket purchase will support Rocky Mountain Adaptive.

Rocky Mountain Adaptive (RMA) started in 2009 with a dream: to promote adaptive sport, create independence, and develop opportunities. The foundation of RMA began with adaptive ski lessons at Sunshine Village Ski Resort in Banff, AB. This dream grew into a community, connecting guests to adventures and supporters to opportunities, redefining the definition of ability.
